 The England cricket team played a Test series against the New Zealand cricket team in June 2021. This series consisted of two Test matches. Here's a summary of the series:



First Test Match (June 2-6, 2021):


Venue: Lord's Cricket Ground, London.

Result: The match ended in a draw.

England scored 275 runs in their first innings, with Rory Burns top-scoring with 132 runs.

New Zealand scored 378 runs in their first innings, with Devon Conway scoring 200 runs.

Second Test Match (June 10-14, 2021):

Result: New Zealand won the match by 8 wickets.

New Zealand replied with 388 runs in their first innings, with Devon Conway again being the top scorer with 80 runs.



England were bowled out for 122 runs in their second innings, with Matt Henry taking a 6-wicket haul.

New Zealand chased down the target of 38 runs with 8 wickets in hand.

New Zealand won the second Test and drew the first Test, winning the series 1-0. This series served as preparation for both teams for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final, which was played against India in June 2021.
